Great hair makes you feel beautiful, and confident. A good hair day makes you feel you can seize the day. Feeling beautiful and attractive is strongly linked to confidence and positive self-esteem. We associate confidence with feeling in control, and great hair is one way of feeling you rule the roost. Hair is given so much importance aesthetically and psychologically that in the toughest phase like heartbreaks we switch to a different hairstyle, we cut our hair, crop them, highlight them, straighten them or curl them. When we reach certain age milestones we celebrate it with a change in hairstyle. It gives us the sense of power, that we matter and yes, it’s beautiful out of our shell and the world should see the wonderful us. So besides giving external appearance of being well-managed and presentable, great hair contributes to feeling that way internally too.

When you bathe with hot water, it opens the pores, completely washes off scalp oil, making your hair follicles brittle. That means the natural defense of hair is stripped off . This causes hairfall, hairloss and brittle hair. Avoid hot water and try washing your hair with lukewarm water and then rinse with cold water.
