Constipation is one of the most frequent health concerns these days, and it is caused by a lack of fibre, insufficient sleep, and disruption in one’s daily routine, among other things. It may have a significant influence on your daily routine and, in the long term, can lead to unpleasant disorders such as haemorrhoids and piles, further disrupting your life. Not eating mindfully, excessive intake of dry, cold, spicy, fried, and fast food, not drinking enough water, less fibre, poor metabolism, disturbed sleep pattern, eating dinner late, and leading a sedentary lifestyle are all factors that can contribute to the problem of irregular bowel movement. While there are several over-the-counter treatments for constipation, and they may work momentarily for some individuals, long-term usage of laxatives can be harmful to your health as your intestines become accustomed to them. * Drink one glass of lukewarm water first thing in the morning: Regularly drinking hot water might aid bowel movement. Water softens the stool, allowing it to travel more easily.

* At bedtime, drink 1 tsp cow’s ghee with warm milk: Ghee is said to function as a lubricant for the body and help cleanse the digestive channel. This facilitates waste movement and makes bowel movements easier.

* Do these yoga asanas on a regular basis:

1. Malasana: This pose promotes intestinal function and aids waste disposal.

The asana stimulates the pancreas, liver, spleen, kidneys, stomach, and ascending and descending colons.

3. Halasana: This asana improves blood circulation and digestion in the pelvic region.

4. Pavan muktasana: This asana helps to expel gas, reduce acid reflux, and treat dyspepsia.

5. Baddha Konasana: This pose helps to alleviate gas, bloating, cramps, and stress.

* If you’re using a western toilet, either move to an Indian toilet or put a stool beneath your feet. It is a need for everyone to pass bowels at least once a day. It’s one of the most effective and simple methods of natural detoxification.
